For our Headquarter in Glattbrugg we are looking for a Crew & Training Planner. As a vital member of the team, you will work closely with the Crew Planning Manager to lead the development, optimization, and management of crew and training schedules, ensuring that operations run efficiently and compliantly. This role is ideal for individuals with a proven track record in crew planning, a deep understanding of industry regulations, and a strategic mindset for driving process improvements. Your main tasks
- Develop and optimize crew schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation while meeting both operational needs and compliance standards
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with both operational goals and regulatory requirements
- Proactively monitor schedules to ensure full compliance with industry regulations, swiftly addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise
- Maintain and update detailed records of crew assignments, training participation, certifications, and qualifications to ensure ongoing compliance and accuracy
- Analyze scheduling and training data to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization, contributing to continuous improvements in efficiency and effectiveness
- Serve as a key liaison between crew members, internal teams, and other stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and resolving scheduling conflicts or concerns
- Prepare and present regular reports, documentation, and other materials as required to track performance, compliance, and operational outcomes
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Aviation, or a related field, or at least 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in an aviation-related role; knowledge of industry regulations preferred
- Skilled in crew scheduling, training coordination, or operations management
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail in handling complex data sets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling software and LMS is a plus
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Solution-oriented mindset focused on process optimization and service quality
