Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:
Strategy: Planning and Execution

Lead and manage the forecasting process on a category level
-
Creation and execution of annual trade marketing programs to support commercial and brand objectives
-
Recommend clear and specific DPSM strategy for each category by understanding business objectives, and translating them into a DPSM channel roadmap for Sales execution in different retail environment formats (MT, GT and Ecommerce)
-
Participate in target setting and delivery of value market share for each category, brand and channel
-
Develop ready-to-sell stories and materials that translate our portfolio and commercial strategies and enable the customer teams to sell effectively

Enhance brand’s activation by ensuring that all Sales/Customer insights are incorporated into the company’s planning process

Recommend builds on the Trade Investment guidelines in accordance with business objectives, performs top-line allocations and reviews planned Trade Investment

Support development and implementation of national and/or account-specific promotional programs/key events
-
Regularly perform post-promo analysis on key programs
Analytics: Actionable Insights

Utilizes information from a range of sources (e.g. Nielsen, Shopper Research, Customer Scan Sales, Ecommerce Platform) to understand market trends, competition, customer strategy and brand strategy

Build DPSM gap analysis and work with Sales to develop/agree on clear, specific plans for corrective action
Category Management: Category Expert

Understanding and presenting market/consumer/category trends to key customers

Lead category management and planogram strategy/execution in line with business objectives
Operations: Flawless Execution

Flawlessly execute NPD launches to gain maximum distribution and consumer engagement

Be the “trade” gate-keeper of all new innovation, ensuring that any national launch it is set up for success with the trade and driving customer Innovation
-
Partnering closely with the field sales team and with other cross- functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance) to drive the right go-to-market strategy has context menu

Essential Requirements

Looking for a commercially-minded digital leader with highly developed strategic influencing skills
-
At least 10 years experience in digital/ecommerce either in client or agency side. B2C CPG digital experience mandatory. Some experience in B2B digital ideal but not mandatory.

At least 3 years in regional digital/ecommerce leadership roles with proven success in driving high impact initiatives across markets. Familiarity orchestrating digital experiences across the Asia digital ecosystem and touchpoint landscape.

Some commercial experience either in marketing or sales would be an advantage.

Excited by ambiguity. Comfortable with ‘set-up’ situations where the remit is to define the task at hand

Principled and values-driven leader. Sets expectations of excellence for team while leading from the front and with empathy to enable team to achieve their goals
