This works well in the company

Concerns the store affoltern am Albis, Switzerland: After change of store manager, everything went steeply downhill from the first day. No management style, no empathy, just bad. Wave of layoffs was topic number 1 with the new . And many found their own way out through their own resignation. Formerly top and the best employer. Today, unfortunately, a flop all along the line

This could be improved

Replace store management as soon as possible . But it does not happen. One crow doesn't scratch the eye out of another ....

This works well in the company

The salary comes super on time. Lots of vacations, but have to be planned at the beginning of the year. In my department we have excellent cohesion among ourselves.

This could be improved

If you have learned a trade (e.g. bricklayer, tiler, carpenter, roofer, etc.) you will quickly notice that in all departments no value is placed on "expert advice Switzerland". You should simply sell EU and China goods. No matter which regulations apply in your trade. Sell what is available, then you will quickly become "Scheffies darling" and will be promoted.

Good at the point of sale as a customer. Hornbach is large and well-known.

This could be improved

Communication between Hornbach HR department and applicant. Once applied but never received any response. I find this very unprofessional. Although the name of the person responsible is given, there is neither a contact email nor a direct telephone number for enquiries.
