Modern slavery

Former employee

26 August 2018

If anyone wants modern slavery then apply to migrolino AG. Worst working conditions. The lowest wage (starvation wage) ever of all franchises. No respect as a good, honest employee like from chef as well as from most customers. No night or holiday surcharges paid. No overtime never pays. Very exploited by the franchise partners about everything, man feels like a "slave" really.

First of all, it is important to know that Migrolino only has its own employees in Suhr at its headquarters and in merchandise management, who, in my experience, do very well. In the 320 Migrolino shops, however, all are employees of so-called franchise companies. These will be subject to a CLA from February 2018, with the exception of Ticino, but these jobs are no walk in the park. Very often the opening hours are from 5.00 o'clock to 23.00 o'clock or even 24 hours and that 365 days !!! So like in the nursing professions in hospitals and so on. This is usually not possible without a car. A lot has changed in the retail trade in recent years and not too well. But that's where customer behavior, that is, us, is most to blame. Over the next few years, the situation will become even worse, which means that there will be no need for retail staff, just cleaners and shelf fillers.
