The IT equipment (hardware and software) is state of the art and very pleasant to work with. You can easily ask for accessories that you need for your work (e.g. ergonomic mouse). The desks are height-adjustable.
There are many online training courses available - you just have to find and use them.
The canteen is very good and subsidized, so you can eat for little money.
Parking spaces and a job ticket are offered.
Flexible working hours (can vary depending on the department)
This could be improved
The structures and leadership are extremely old-fashioned and patriarchal. Women are clearly outnumbered and their interests are not particularly well represented.
Modern workplace design such as home office, remote work etc. exists - but is not appreciated if you use it and is also handled differently depending on the department.
Many employees have been with the company for many years, which is great - but in return, innovations and improvements are very difficult to implement.
Knowledge is not handled or documented in a sustainable way.
The company has grown rapidly and is now an international group. There is no longer much sign of a family business. Unfortunately, many administrative processes have also suffered as a result and things are very cumbersome and not clearly defined.
There is competition between the various sub-companies/departments, there is no togetherness, even though everyone works in the same company.
If you come from outside, it is extremely difficult to settle in because many of your colleagues are "company blind" due to their many years of employment and take many things for granted.

This works well in the company
Not much good to tell in my opinion, as the bad atmosphere caused by the management clouds over everything.
"Endress+Hauser Process Solutions" (PCPS) or "Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions" as they want to be called, is a child of the Endress+Hauser Group. All other group-members finance Process Solutions. The output of PCPS is just not worth the money in my opinion. In my opinion PCPS damages the reputation of Endress+Hauser - that was once known as a good and fair employer. I ask myself how long will the other members of the group tolerate that?
This could be improved
In my opinion the the management of the PCPS-Department should be exchanged.
In my opinion the leading hierarchy of the HR-department of PCPS-Department should be exchanged.
