Gübelin is a Swiss family business, founded in 1854 as a small watchmaker's shop and today known for its exquisite jewellery, gemstone expertise and its wide range of luxury watch brands. Gübelin's expertise is based on the company's over 160-year history and the high appreciation that the Gübelin family has for the beauty, the knowledge, the authenticity and the craftsmanship. The family-owned company with headquarter in Lucerne employs around 260 highly qualified specialists in eight cities in Switzerland and abroad. Gübelin offers positions as in the fields of jewellery and watchmaking, gemmology and retail, as well as informatics, finance, human resources, marketing, product management and design. In addition, Gübelin regularly offers apprenticeships such as Business Trainee (profile E/M) or Jewellery & Watch Consultant Trainee (specialisation: watch, jewellery and gemstones), as well as industry-specific apprenticeships such as Goldsmith and Watchmaker. Gübelin strives to promote the knowledge of its employees in the areas of watchmaking, gemmology, jewellery and sales, as well as in company-specific training courses.
