Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our growing Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will lead our cybersecurity projects, maintain strong client relationships, acquire new clients, and lead a team of cybersecurity experts.
A key part of this role is being a leader who truly cares about their team. You’ll focus on coaching and mentoring our technical SMEs, helping them grow while fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a strategic direction for the practice - Develop a roadmap for improvements and growth, along with an operating model that enhances our key capabilities.
- Consult with clients - Provide expertise in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, and AI to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
- Drive business development - Identify leads, acquire new clients, and manage the full cycle of client acquisition, particularly focusing on the Italian and French regions of Switzerland.
- Draft proposals and contracts - Create detailed proposals, Statements of Work (SoW), and contracts, primarily in English, reflecting the international nature of our clients.
- Oversee multiple projects - Act as a project manager, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple ongoing projects.
- Lead, develop, and guide your team – Demonstrate excellent management skills by creating a supportive and collaborative environment. Be open to giving and receiving feedback to help everyone, including yourself, grow and succeed.
- Keep growing personally and professionally - Commit to continuous growth by building self-awareness, reflecting on your strengths and areas for improvement, and actively working on your development through learning, feedback, and everyday experiences.
Minimum:
- Proven experience in enterprise / global companies, ideally in senior / management positions
- At least 10 years of working experience in IT security, cloud services and cybersecurity
- Fluent English speaker with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- You have advanced communication skills in another language - mainly in French or Italian
- You enjoy and are willing to travel - Regular travel within Switzerland and occasional international trips as needed. In-person presence may be required 3-4 days a week for some projects, while others offer greater remote flexibility or even full time remote work with an occasional client visits (Depens on the project and client).
- Independent and reliable. You have a can-do attitude, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills and you enjoy working within fast-paced environments
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success
- You are a people-person and had succesfully lead the teams before. Note: authoritarian - top/down red culture management will not be tolerated. Coaching / more collaborative leadership style is a must for this position.
Preffered:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business or a related field
- Excellent presentation skills
- Confident and competent appearance in discussions with customer leadership (CEO, CISO, etc.)
- Additional language skills - German, Spanish, Russian
