Technology Policy Counsel

We are currently seeking an Attorney with data privacy and policy development experience to work with a Fortune 100 technology company’s policy team advising on the impact of new legislation and regulatory trends on products in the development phase. Ideal candidates will have extensive privacy experience coupled with knowledge of the regulations impacting advertising technology. 


Responsibilities:



  • Partner with and advise Product teams on the impact of new and upcoming legislation during the development of products/features with particular emphasis on data privacy and monetization of data and content.

  • Conduct research and support legal and policy teams on the development of policy strategy across the organization and provide training and lobbying to ensure compliance and help frame the discussion around data and privacy.

  • Monitor and respond to queries from internal business, engineering, and product development teams concerning monetization and privacy issues surrounding programmatic advertising.


Qualifications:



  • 5-10+ years of legal experience with extensive subject matter expertise in privacy coupled with a firm understanding of programmatic advertising.

  • Experience partnering with and advising policy teams on upcoming legislative changes, trends and impacts of new regulations on the development of technology products and features.

  • Strong understanding of current policies regarding the monetization of data and online advertising in the United States.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner closely with product and engineering teams to ensure compliance while driving business forward.


Compensation, Benefits & Location:


This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $175,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.  Axiomites also get access to professional development resources and learning and development programs. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
