The Product Data Manager is responsible for the company-wide consolidation of European product data in the PIM- system and the generation of new metadata for the directly connected CRM and ERP systems. He also supports the further development of the product configurator as a sales-supporting tool. As an important hub between internal and external development partners as well as building services planners and architects, he makes an important contribution to the further development of the Taconova BIM strategy and the associated tools and data. Key Deliverables /success measures:
- Ensuring up-to-date product data across all relevant systems (PIMS, CRM, ERP etc.) with periodic reviews to maintain data quality.
- Structuring product data into an analysable format to monitor product portfolios and support strategic decision-making.
- Driving digitalisation and improving efficient data availability as a superuser of software tools such as PIMS, the configurator, and ERP systems.
- Support product management and development team in the items maintenance from start (opening items in ERP) to the end (phase-out) of the life time of an item.

Product Data Management in all relevant Systems:
- Responsible for the product data in PIMS & ERP
- Further developing software and data solutions in alignment with Taconova's strategy and international standards (DIN, CEN, VDI, BTGA, etc.).
- Identifying and implementing optimisation opportunities in product data structures and digital processes.
Digitization of the Quotation/Order Process:
- Enhancing the configuration tool and creating new input areas to digitalise the sales process.·
- Supporting the market development of local sales teams while ensuring compliance with group-wide processes.
- Assisting product management and customer service with digitalisation projects.
- Supporting product management and development teams throughout the lifecycle of an item, from creation in the ERP system to phase-out.
Required profile:
What You Bring
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Degree in Data Science (Bachelor's, Master's, or a proven track record in the field). · Knowledge of relevant standards for Building Information Modelling (BIM). · Experience with PIM, PLM, and ERP systems. · Fluent in both German and English.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the design and management of PIMS systems (e.g., Contentserve).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
