The role
As a DevOps Engineer you bridge the developer world with the operations world and support all parties with needed infrastructure. You are a DevOps advocate for mindset and toolings, value the longstanding DevOps technologies and help our customers to continuously improve their DevOps environment.
How you’ll make impact

You are the driving force for effective and efficient collaboration between development, operations, and quality assurance.

You are responsible for ensuring the operation of production and development environments, as well as resolving disruptions in close collaboration with development teams and hosting providers.

You bring operational excellenceinto development projects and ensure their implementation with high quality.

Building and continuously optimizing automation for builds, deployments, testing, and monitoring are also within your responsibilities.

You provide customer consultation regarding new infrastructure projects.

We provide you with enough freedom to create and tackle new challenges, working together with a highly motivated team.
What’s important to us

You have already worked for several years in software development and architecture and are also familiar with operational topics.

You have experience in some of the following technologies: Shell (Unix Shell/PowerShell), Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Nagios, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, TFS, TeamCity, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Git.

A quick grasp, strong communication skills and an understanding of business processes help you to understand complex client problems.

A technical degree (University of Applied Sciences, university, ETH, or equivalent) would be a plus.

Daily communication and interaction with customers and colleagues bring you joy – whether in German or English.
