Therefore we're now looking for a Head of Sales Europe. You will have a central role in scaling our SaaS revenues as part of our global revenue team. You will provide sales leadership across our industry segments and work closely with other revenue teams.
Meteomatics is on a growth journey, and you will help take the company to the next level. Continuously improving our sales processes and customer journey will be key responsibilities.
To succeed in this position, you must have a strong passion for weather and sales and be result-oriented with excellent leadership skills. The customer acquisition and lifetime journey is a key focus and you are a strong network builder. Our new Head of Sales in Europe will report directly to the CRO.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategy in line with our overall revenue targets and go to market plan
- Lead the European sales teams in our four strategic segments
- Energy & Utilities
- Insurance & Agriculture
- Aviation & Transportation
- Defense & Government (drones)
- Grow and nurture the European client portfolio in tight collaboration with our customer success team
- Collaborate with cross functional revenue teams in marketing, sales development, sales team in the US, customer success and revenue operations
- Own overall European sales target, report on forecasting & results on a regular basis
- Work closely with customers to ensure continuous improvement of our offerings
- Participate in marketing activities and events (conferences, customer gatherings, etc.)
- Traveling will be required
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Meteorology or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles and 10 years overall professional experience
- Proven experience in building strong sales funnels and driving structured end-to-end sales processes
- Prior experience in the Weather Industry or meteorology background
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus, especially German and French
