For our Swiss Sales Organization we are currently looking for a
The Service Engineer based in Basel or Baar provides in-house and on-site service for DeltaV Systems and AO for new installations and existing systems.
Your main responsibilities:
- Perform Control system maintenance tasks and performance evaluations.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding process system inquiries.
- Perform system acceptance tests, installation, commissioning, training, fault analysis and rectification work at customer sites and installations.
- Assist in modernization studies and perform Hardware and Software upgrades and modifications.
- Be able and willing to perform emergency call-out services to provide customers with fast and efficient services.
- Communicate issues oncerning customer satisfaction or customer requests for Emerson support to the responsible person in Service Management or Sales Management.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred background is Electrical or Process Automation Engineering
- Knowledge in Automation of processes in the Life Science environment, Computer Validation, GAMP, MS-Office Applications, indepth know-how and experience of Control Systems (e.g. DeltaV)
- Work experience of DCS/PLC software engineering or service business
- Knowledge in some areas of Microsoft server operating system, Active Directory, TCP/IP Networks, SQL-Server, Cyber Security, Virtualization
- German - good, English - fluent, French – would be a plus
- Professional attitude, technical orientation, customer focus, team oriented, flexibility, self-motivated and driven
- Must have a valid car driving license
- Willingness to travel abroad for trainings or business trips
