Job Description
Job Title: Key Account Management Lead
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
About the role:
- Leverage cross-functional efforts to optimize company’s portfolio in hospital access (ie. new drug enlistment, hospital price protection, competition defense).
- Lead account-level pricing and access strategy and support company-level pricing and access strategy
- Establish long-term partnerships with key stakeholders
- Build KAM people development and talent pipeline
How you will contribute:
- Lead the KAM team to make sure designate strategy account plan be designed and implemented smoothly. To make sure winning in the individual account by efficient execution of tasks assigned for each individual.
- Create cross-BUs (i.e., MKT, MR, DMs, NSM, medical) engagement platform and understanding the needs within the prioritize accounts. Through this to make sure agile decision-making process to overcome external environment dynamics and achieve company objectives.
- Lead the pricing and access strategies for prioritized accounts and get cross-functional alignments during price negotiation decision meetings (PNDM). Analyze and benchmarking the external competitive environment to support the regular pricing committee for company-level pricing strategy alignments.
- Initiate regular overview and information sharing of priorities accounts to cross-functional teams to enhance synergetic efforts.
- Build up long-term partnerships with key stakeholders including Procurement, Pharmacists, and hospital management team
- Build solid capability of Takeda KAM to become the top tier KAM team within the Taiwan pharmaceutical industry. efficient execution of duties and overall performance at all levels of the department.
What you bring to Takeda:
- BS/MS in Business, Science or Pharmacy, with medical related academic background will be a plus
- 8 to 10 years of working experience in a role developing account strategy to win within the individual account, working in key account management position at least 2 years is a plus
- At least 3 years people management experience, preferable with MNC to demonstrate the ability to motivate, transform and develop the team
- Have a proven and successful track record in establishing strong and long-term consumer relationships, being able to retain the highest-value partnership with key stakeholders.
- Good analytical skills and ability to think strategically
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter, high level of personal motivation and results-oriented
- A team player with high leadership qualities and ability to work effectively cross-functionally
