In this challenging role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of applications in the market applications domain. Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as an intermediary between application users, the IT organization, and software vendors.
- Identifying and assessing business needs and new features in collaboration with users, as well as autonomously planning new releases, updates, and tests.
- Continuously improving applications in terms of functionality, availability, and cost efficiency, while adhering to agreed service level agreements and cybersecurity requirements.
- Actively participating in application architecture development projects while considering existing architectural guidelines.
- Creating customized reports and statistics on business transactions and managing all required documentation.
- Providing 24/7 on-call service.
Requirements

- Degree in computer science (bachelor’s or master’s) or equivalent training.
- Several years of experience in application management and familiarity with user support, or several years of experience as a senior developer with a solid understanding of application operations.
- Practical experience in developing and operating applications in the cloud (preferably Azure) as well as in DevOps security methods and requirements.
- Practical experience with at least one programming language (preferably Java or C#), knowledge of IT architectures, technologies, and interfaces, as well as application monitoring (preferably ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of data management, configuration, and interfaces, as well as ITIL processes (ITIL Foundation certification is a plus).
- Practical experience in requirements engineering and specification writing.
- Strong customer orientation, good adaptability, and determination.
- Excellent command of German and English.
