The FIRST Conference is a unique recruitment opportunity that will be hosted April 6 – 9, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio. FIRST is Procter & Gamble’s premier recruiting program for outstanding doctoral and postdoctoral scientists and engineers. The FIRST Program is your opportunity to showcase your research through technical presentations while engaging in technical discussions with P&G’s senior managers and technologists. You will have the opportunity to experience the wide range of exciting research careers at P&G, network with successful scientists and gain a deeper understanding of the realities of cultural and workforce diversities. You will learn how P&G invests in basic and applied research that ultimately brings superior innovation to the marketplace.
The Program is designed to give top students immersive experiences in a culture where diverse backgrounds, experiences, and ways of thinking are valued and included to make a meaningful impact from Day 1. Job Qualifications
Who Should Attend?
Applicants who expect to receive a doctoral degree within 0-12 months.
Postdoctoral researchers are also strongly encouraged to apply.
The FIRST Conference is primarily intended for doctoral and postdoctoral scientists from STEM disciplines who want to learn more about industrial research careers. We strongly encourage scientists to apply. All qualified candidates will also be considered for participation. For maximum individual benefit, a limited number of applicants will be chosen to participate.
All interested candidates must be seeking / possess a PhD degree in a STEM field such as Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science, Biomedical, Computer), Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, Bio, Analytical, Physical), Life Sciences (Biology, Biomedical, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, toxicology, pharmacology), Data Science, or Statistics.
