Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Technical Manager in AI engineering to join our Data Science and Digital Health function Innovative Medicine Research & Development located in Hyderabad/ Bangalore, India. Remote work may be considered case-by-case and if approved by the Company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire direct reports to deliver high quality, high performance AI-based software functional products, using agile and other principles as appropriate.
- Manage and actively contribute to the (hands-on) development of high-performance AI-based solutions through state-of-the-art code and algorithm optimization.
- Follow and contribute (hands-on) to CI/CD, deployment, and documentation processes.
- Work with data scientists to capture model requirements to further produce the best model optimization (hardware and software) strategy.
- Program management through all development cycles, from prototyping to delivery.
- Leverage emerging scientific and technological developments to generate new solutions and initiatives for large-scale AI modeling.
- Present results on behalf of project team in a cross-functional setting, contextualizing fit within the broader project.
- Support the development of the local team and provide day-to-day assistance.
- Serve as the liaison between local and US teams.
- Manage resources, capacity planning, and operational needs.
