Your responsibility
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of advanced pricing methodologies and tools for Non-Life reinsurance solutions.
- Oversee and execute the pricing of both proportional and non-proportional reinsurance solutions.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to underwriting and/or senior management based on pricing analyses.
- Collaborate with underwriting, risk, and finance teams to support business objectives and optimise pricing strategies.
- Optimise pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to continuously improve pricing models and practices.
Your qualification
- Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related disciplines).
- Professional actuarial designation (e.g., SAV, DAV, IFoA) is highly preferred.
- Extensive, relevant experience in Non-Life reinsurance pricing.
- Highly motivated with a strong balance of technical expertise, extensive experience, and innovative thinking.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong communicator, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Fluent in English, both written and oral; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Proficient in programming languages such as R, Python, Matlab, VBA or SQL.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
