Intercompany Accountant and reporting specialist

The Intercompany Accountant and Reporting Specialist will be in charged of the Interco accounting flow in SAP. She/he will ensure that all AP and AR invoices are correctly booked in SAP, in compliance with the Group Policy. She/he will also be responsible for the Monthly Interco Reporting in the Group consolidation tool. She/he will be support by a resource in India and will focus on optimizing, digitalizing and simplifying the current IC process.
Key accountabilities and tasks:
- Management of the Generic Mail Box
- Procced AP IC invoices: from the posting to the payment
- Train and supervise the resource in India to support for all IC tasks
- Issue IC marginal invoices (cost recharge)
- Follow up on IC overdue invoices and disputes
- Closing activities (accruals, reconciliations…)
- IC reconciliation and Month-End reporting
- Analyze and correct all P&L and BS discrepancies and mismatches
- Continuous improvement: Work with your partners on the optimization, digitalization and simplification of the current IC process
- Follow up the commission process: collect agreements, control the flow in SAP and ensure agent are paid on time.
- Free up time to support the GL and controlling team in various projects
Professional experience and technical skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or a similar role
- Proven experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Experience with financial reconciliation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Power Query
Skills and competencies:
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, to stand up to pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external customers
Education and language requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Accounting certificate or Equivalent
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, advanced French is an advantage
