THE TEAM
Under Group Technology Operation, Global Service operations, The Linux intermediate product aims at delivering best in class Linux services (deploy tools & services, design & implement new functionalities, provide engineering, In place upgrade creation, Incident, problems and changes support for the L2 managed service) for AXA GO and the entities.
As a member of this team you are responsible for the engineering and the operations of all Linux related solutions and their ecosystem, working in a global mindset with all the regions.
In order to support AXA strategy, support all the initiatives relying on Linux based technologies, participate to the project kickoff, define & share the best practices, create the standards, prioritize the tasks
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES
As a Linux Intermediate Product manager, you would be promoting the Linux usage within AXA.
You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders within AXA Group and AXA Entities:
- Distributed teams
- Network and Security & CyberDefense teams
- Cloud Brokers
- Cloud global product teams
- Markets
- Group Security teams
Main objectives will be met if the following goals are successful :
Your Profile
- Manage the Product:
- team members in charge of L3
- key Projects (migration)
- Finance
- Quality of Services
- Manage Services- in charge of L1/L2
- Entities/Clients relationship
- Design the structure of the team
- Manage the career and trainings path evolution of direct collaborators (internals)
- Hire and manage external contractors
- Ensure that working methodology is adapted and applied by everyone inside and outside of the team
- Manage the relationship and challenge the Managed Services in charge of L1/L2 tasks
- Coordinate and consolidate needs from any Linux services consumers.
- Prioritizes product backlogs based on entity needs.
- Drives the community around Linux best practices and adoption.
- Promoter / evangelist of the product at global level
- Work with the technical teams to build a roadmap around Linux product at AXA
- Work on standardization and globalization of process
Following knowledge and experience areas are mandatory:
- Background working on/with application development teams on infrastructure as code
- Understand key IT drivers and strategy around AXA infrastructure usage
- Audit and security skills.
- Strong general knowledge in IT and Datacenter infrastructure architectures
- Proven organization skills to manage multiple key stakeholders and providers
- Results oriented and methodical
- Team leader & team management experience
- Capacity to adapt to various situations and react accordingly
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trustful relationships at all levels.
- Strong team player, including ability to work in multi-cultural team
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an asset:
- Linux knowledge would be a nice to have
- Understand IT application architecture
About AXA
- At least 4 years of experience in IT people management or project management
- Agile methodologies
- Ability to organize and plan events with key stakeholders
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Fluent English
- Ability to work in an international context, with remote teams, in a matrix organization
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, as well as independently
- Ability to interact with stakeholders on a regular basis
- Commitment for occasional international travels (Europe, US & Asia) to support new projects
