Head of Global Applications Processes, Toolchain and Delivery

Job Purpose

We are looking for a global Head of Business Applications Processes, Toolchain and Delivery who will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and solutions that enable the efficient and effective management of our Global Business Applications portfolio. As part of our digital transformation journey and business growth strategy you will play a key role contributing to major initiatives across the organization. You will report to the Head of Global Business Applications.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Define Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) concept, processes, and capabilities for all global business applications and provide technology expertise, innovation, standardization, and automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and to enhance customer experience.
• Deploy, maintain, and ensure adoption and adherence to the ALM processes, solutions that enable Operations Support, Project Management, Build Process, Change and Release Process, Documentation Methodology and Testing. Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements accordingly in line with industry trends. Ensure adoption and integration to other D&T solutions (such as ServiceNow).
• Provide leadership for all aspects of IT quality and CSV (Computerized System Validation) for Global Business Applications and ensure compliance to Straumann IT policies and standards
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and external partners to ensure timely and effective support for business applications. Contribute and support the RFP process for selecting and contracting Global Business Applications vendors and solutions.
• Provide leadership in project management and ensure efficient solution delivery of broader, highly complex projects, across multiple areas, technologies and geographies, working closely with key stakeholders.
• Develop a high-performance team with strong leadership skills and technology expertise.
• Develop and manage the budget for global business applications, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to meet business objectives.

Requirements needed

Education

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field and/or related working experience.

Experience & personal attributes

• 10+ years of experience with technologies, enterprise applications and project management in a global environment, including implementation projects (ERP, CRM, CMS, HRIS and other enterprise applications…).
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team as well as effectively building strong and collaborative relationships to ensure seamless program and project delivery.
• Hands on experience in implementation of project and program methodologies, ERP application life cycle management, preferably using SAP Solution Manager.
• Significant experience in ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
• Good knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
• Capacity to face and adapt to challenges to overcome them (resilience)
• Fluent English spoken and written, other languages are an asset (DE)
