Your Mission

  • Engage with key stakeholders towards setting clear project objectives and key products to be delivered in order to fulfill Contract obligations
  • Drive Project profitability including on-time and on-quality delivery
  • Develop project documentation, agree project plan baseline including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones, and deadlines
  • Lead a global (sometimes largely virtual) project environment of qualified members from suppliers, engineering and production team members and build strong relationships with customers
  • Ensure coordination and leadership towards team members; that they are informed, have clear goals, and work collaboratively and in partnership with clients and other stakeholders to achieve planned outcomes
  • Drive project execution; track delivery; expect, monitor and control change, own change management; pro-actively seek and resolve blockers
  • Conduct reviews to assess project outcomes and to identify and capture lessons learned to enable continuous improvement
  • Drive communication with the Customer, ensure timely information exchange and constant cooperation.
  • Manage Project risks and opportunities, drive rigorous change management and lead negotiations both with internal stakeholders and direct Customer

Your Story

  • Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • At least seven years’ experience in managing and overseeing complex customer projects: background in Project Management at custom manufacturing companies would be a major advantage
  • Relevant and demonstrable experience of contract and claim management
  • Strong Business Acumen and negotiation as well as communication skills and the readiness to work as part of an international team.
  • Appropriate knowledge of English considered essential; other languages, and especially German, would be an asset
  • Results-oriented and assertive mindset with advanced analytical skills
  • Familiar with modern Office tools (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) as well as MS Project
  • PMP / IPMA2 certification will be considered a plus
