Citi is looking for full-time Analysts to join the Financial Institutions Group (“FIG”) Corporate Banking team in Paris. FIG Corporate Bankers are responsible for:

Delivering Citi’s comprehensive offer of Banking products across its unparalleled 95 countries Network. Citi is a truly global institution, and one the Corporate Bank’s roles is to deliver to its clients’ central finance teams a centralized coordination of global relationships.

Deciding where to invest the firm's capital and executing on those investments. Most Banking products require capital, and the Corporate Bank is in charge of credit allocation which entails both taking a Risk approach (credit analysis, first line of defence) and a Business approach (return on capital, cross-sell opportunity).

Working in partnership with a wide range of teams and Products. Investment Banking, Capital Markets Origination, Markets, Treasury and Trade Solutions, Securities Services, Risk... The Corporate Bank works with all of Citi’s Businesses across geographies and acts as a Coordinator to ensure flawless client delivery.
To sum it up, FIG Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our Financial Institutions clients around the world. As a FIG Corporate Banker, you will drive the client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions.
The FIG client portfolio includes large banks, insurers, traditional and alternative asset managers and financial market infrastructures.

Your time here will look something like this...

Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling and capital markets analysis on Financial Institutions, notably Banks, Insurers and Asset Managers.

Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis on the French FIG Portfolio.

Liaise with product partners.

Coordinate with the Bank’s 95 countries Network.

Assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients.

Structure deals.
We want to hear from you if...

You are in your final year of university or graduated.

Expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1, a GPA 3.0/4.0 or above (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline.

You have a strong interest in business.

You are fluent in English, French is a strong plus.
