HR Payroll Expert 70%

As a Payroll Expert, you will ensure the smooth and accurate execution of payroll for all staff. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all payroll-related processes, maintaining compliance with Swiss regulations, and contributing to the optimization of systems and workflows.

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process (Pre-Payrun and Payrun) for approximately 250 employees.
• Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and system updates in Sage and Abacus.
• Ensure timely compliance with all deadlines for payroll, social security, and tax-related processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for audits, federal statistics, and labor inspectorate inquiries.
• Process and manage withholding tax settlements, accident and sickness reports in close cooperation with HR team, and other legal requirements.
• Maintain and update personnel files, including permits, certificates, and contact information.

• Completed vocational training or degree, with further specialization as a Payroll or Social Insurance Expert for the Swiss market.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labor law, social insurance, and tax regulations, including AHV, withholding tax, and pension schemes.
• Proficiency in Abacus (knowledge of Sage is an advantage).
• Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level in both languages).
• Structured and detail-oriented approach with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration.
