Job Description
Company Profile:
Takeda's Singapore biologics manufacturing facility focuses on manufacturing potentially life-saving medicines for patients suffering from rare blood disorders such as Hemophilia A and B. As part of the company’s Biologics Operating Unit network, the site is Takeda’s only biologics drug substance manufacturing facility in Asia. The facility has two buildings, including manufacturing suites and laboratories, as well as Takeda’s first positive energy building certified by Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority’s Green Mark scheme in 2022.
Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Scheduler
Location: Woodlands, Singapore
About the role:
With minimum supervision, the individual will be responsible for the overall scheduling and planning of manufacturing shopfloor activities for Takeda Singapore Manufacturing, biologics plant.
How you will contribute:

Perform planning and scheduling of shopfloor activities for multi-suite environment. This includes Suite 1, Suite 2, Manufacturing Support and Column Packing

Develop contingency mfg schedule in the events of major production disruption

Collaborate with supply chain for BDS supply loss recovery upon major production disruption

Monitor shopfloor activities progress and make necessary plan changes to ensure schedule adherence

Coordinate with material planner to manage production schedule with respect to critical material supplies

Point-of-contact representing Manufacturing to collaborate with Maintenance Planner to enable timely maintenance and calibration activities

Highlight critical path and escalate schedule adherence risks to Manufacturing leadership as necessary

Develop or lead CAPA actions arising from improvement opportunities or audits

Champion and participate continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost efficiency and reduction

Responsible to adhere to Quality requirements

Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.

What you bring to Takeda:
Education and Experience Requirements
-
Degree in Chemical Engineering / Bioengineering / Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering / Pharmaceutical Engineering or related and possesses at least 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry

Diploma in Applied Chemistry / Biomedical Sciences / Chemical Engineering / Food Science & Technology / Biologics & Process Technology / Chemical & Pharmaceutical Technology/ Food Science & Nutrition / Molecular Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering / Pharmacy Science or related and possess at least 10 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry

Previous experience in using planning tools, for example Gantt Charts, Infor, Symphony etc. is preferred

The individual should have good understanding of biologics manufacturing setups as well as the following abilities
