The role
In your role as HR Business Partner at the Zurich office, you will support the team of around 15 employees at the Zurich and Geneva offices throughout the entire employee life cycle. You will report directly to the CEO Switzerland and will also be part of the Swiss management team. In close coordination with the CFO and the HR Manager in London, you will support line managers and employees in their professional and personal development, manage operational HR processes, initiate projects and implement them.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all HR-related matters, aligning HR initiatives with the firm's strategic objectives and growth plans. Develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals, enhance organizational performance, and promote a high-performance culture.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to management and employees on a range of employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary matters. Ensure compliance with Swiss labour laws and firm policies.
Talent Management and Development: Work closely with leaders to identify talent gaps, support recruitment efforts, and contribute to the development and retention of individuals and teams. Promote and facilitate the firm’s professional learning and development programs to foster continuous professional growth.
Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on managing performance and delivering constructive feedback.
Compensation and Benefits: Partner with finance teams to ensure competitive compensation strategies aligned with industry standards and the firm's compensation philosophy. Provide guidance on compensation reviews and benefits administration.
Employee Engagement: Support initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction. Collaborate on diversity and inclusion initiatives and create an environment where employees feel valued and heard.
Change Management: Support and manage organizational change initiatives, including strategic business changes, ensuring smooth transitions and employee buy-in.
HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR data and analytics to track trends, identify areas of improvement, and support data-driven decision-making in HR programs and policies.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with international employment laws, regulations, and firm policies. Manage risk related to HR issues, including employee grievances, disputes, and litigation.
