Primary Teachers (PYP) -

ICS Inter-Community School Zurich in Zumikon

requires the following teachers for August 2025: 

Primary Teachers (PYP) (age 3-11)

Should be familiar with the IB PYP curriculum

(Specialisation: Primary Teaching, German, Learning Support, EAL, Physical Education, Music, Drama/Dance, Art, Design, Counsellor, Librarian, Digital Coach, Nurse, Coordinators)

 Teachers at Secondary Level (age 11-18)

Should be familiar with the IB MYP and IB Diploma

(Specialisation: English/ EAL, German, Maths, Science, Theory of Knowledge, Digital Coach, Librarian, History, Geography, Individuals and Societies, Learning Support, French, Music, Drama/Dance, Art, Physical Education, Design Technology, Counsellor, IB Diploma Coordinator, Economics, Business Management, Head of Departments)

These positions are all full-time. Candidates must be fully

qualified, and have at least four years teaching experience

in an international environment and fluent in English.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree and current teaching qualification.
• Experience: Prior experience in international schools and knowledge of IB MYP and DP programs are advantageous.
• Language: English as a first language (native proficiency).
• Skills: Strong classroom management, organizational, and technology integration skills.
• Professional Knowledge: Specialist understanding of language acquisition pedagogy and adolescent development.
• Soft Skills: Adaptable, imaginative, collaborative, empathetic, resilient, and mission driven.
