How you’ll make an impact

Analyze and Strategize: Dive deep into commodity spending, track market trends, and assess price fluctuations. Conduct benchmarking and SWOT analyses to position the category effectively within emerging markets

Drive Sourcing Excellence: Develop and refine sourcing strategies to align with business needs and industry regulations. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and maintain transparent communication

Lead Negotiations: Oversee RFx processes and supplier negotiations, securing optimal agreements. Establish, sign, and monitor Frame Agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to uphold high standards and customer satisfaction

Cost Management: Take ownership of cost control by analyzing spending, conducting cost breakdowns, and benchmarking regularly. Proactively seek cost-saving opportunities and champion efficient budgeting

Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate robust supplier relationships through performance monitoring and continuous improvement efforts. Ensure a resilient and reliable supply base with proactive risk mitigation
Your Background

You have a technical degree (Uni/ FH) or degree as certified purchaser, ideally with further training in supply management

Industry Experience: At least 5 years in production environments or similar fields, with hands-on knowledge of supplier processes, negotiations, and contracts

Specialized Expertise: Background in manufacturing, railway, or electro-mechanical sectors is highly valued. Familiarity with machined and turned parts is a bonus

People Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, with a knack for navigating multicultural environments

Global Perspective: Proficiency in English and willingness to travel internationally

Self-Driven and Problem Solver: A proactive mindset with a strong ability to learn and tackle challenges independently
