DevOps Engineer- Cloud DevsOps Platforms

Your team

Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.
 
The Cloud DevOps Platforms team is part of the Cloud-Oriented Platforms Services unit. We are responsible for developing and maintaining three Dev- & DevOps-oriented platforms. In this team, you will have the opportunity to operate and build the landing zones of Pictet cloud platforms, the dev stack (CI/CD tools) and citizen development environments. 
 

Your role

• Researching, designing, building and operating reliable Dev & DevOps oriented platforms based on AWS, Azure, GitHub, etc.


• Aligning with developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity and risk managers to apply standards and to provide guidance.


• Contributing to the promotion of good practices in terms of DevSecOps on our platforms.


• Performing tasks expected of an infrastructure engineer: devops, scripting, infrastructure as code with Terraform, Puppet and Ansible, CI/CD,  etc. Languages used will include Go, Python and Java as well as Bash and Powershell scripting.
   

Your profile

• Prior experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.


• Significant knowledge about architecture topics such as integration, security, network, identity and access management.


• Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices, programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, Go, Bash or equivalent).


• Cloud systems knowledge such as Azure or Amazon.


• Experience with code tooling (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.).


• Expertise in DevSecOps, Data Science or FinOps practices would be a plus.


• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Deeply curious and eager to learn technologies and skills.


• Fluent in French and English.


• Swiss resident or willing to relocate.
