We are looking for a OT Applications Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT). This role will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of these systems to ensure they align with business objectives, security and enterprise architecture (EA) policies, established standards, and best practices. The Manager will work closely with IT and OT teams to develop and execute projects that securely improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and provide the company with competitive advantages. A deep understanding of both IT and OT systems, as well as broad knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Define the EA and Governance Framework to streamline architecture and establish standards.

Align roles and responsibilities between OT, IT, and external service providers to ensure stability and an effective support model.

Foster collaboration between IT and OT teams, serving as a key intermediary.

Identify emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization's IT/OT convergence strategy.

Evaluate the security, effectiveness, and resiliency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improvement, convergence, or further leverage.

Participate in proof-of-concept efforts and evaluate new technologies that drive operational efficiency to achieve IT/OT objectives and business goals.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, resiliency, and scalability of converged IT/OT systems and infrastructure. Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of IT/OT projects.

Collaborate to develop OT change control, security policies (aligned with the security team), procurement practices, and audit requirements.

Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful implementation of IT/OT projects.
Requirements:
-
Understanding of related industry standards and best practices frameworks such as NIST 800-82, CPWE, and ISA/IEC 62443.

Familiarity with manufacturing systems (ICS, MES, QCS, data historian, process technology and analytics) running in a highly available production environment.

Technical experience with OT systems, processes and technologies preferred.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoke

Understanding and experience of delivering compliant and qualified IT and OT systems in a controlled manufacturing and supply chain environment

Able to articulate and deep understanding of Operational Technology

Good understanding of the most current regulations that apply to computer systems validation

Ability to negotiate externally and internally at higher levels

Ability to foresee possible issues and troubleshoot them proactively

Teaching ability, and strong change management skills to actively drive and manage change

Good team lead skills
