The Digital Solutions Engineer will design and implement advanced digital tools that optimize clinical research workflows while driving forward projects with our clients using in-house digital solutions. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in engineering, data analytics, or systems integration who are eager to apply their technical expertise to solve complex problems and modernize processes in the clinical research field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Tool Development and Deployment: Configure, program, and deploy advanced digital platforms, including electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) and workflow management systems.
- Process Automation: Design and implement AI and automation solutions to improve the efficiency of clinical trial workflows and operations.
- Data Analysis: Use scripting languages such as Python or R to analyze and interpret clinical data, identify trends, and create data-driven solutions.
- Systems Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate digital tools into existing clinical trial workflows.
- Feasibility and Optimization Studies: Evaluate trial sites and project feasibility using advanced digital tools and databases, recommending optimizations to enhance outcomes.
- Global Collaboration: Work with diverse teams and stakeholders across regions to ensure successful implementation and alignment with global regulations.
- Representation: Represent the company at meetings with clients and suppliers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project alignment.
- Project Oversight: Keep track of study budgets and deliverables, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Prior finance or business training is a plus.
- Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience in project management, consulting, or similar roles.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python or R for automation, data analysis, and scripting.
- System Design Skills: Experience with digital systems, process engineering, or workflow optimization.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify inefficiencies and design scalable, innovative solutions.
- Communication: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin or Traditional Chinies is a big plus.
- Global Perspective: Comfortable working in interdisciplinary environments across Europe, Asia, and the US.
