Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Regional Sales Manager at ILG's subsidiary Swiss Fashion Time AG located in Möhlin, Switzerland. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales activities, developing strategies to expand market share, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role will involve travel to various regions to support sales teams and represent ILG.
Main Tasks
- Oversee, manage and support local distribution partners’ activities and maintain close communication and relationship with key business contacts in the designated region
- Assess existing distribution landscape and identify new distribution channels and points of sales where required
- Travel regularly to local markets to ensure a first-hand knowledge of current and future business needs
- Monitor local brand presentation, execution standards and opportunities both within local partner internal businesses, and at retail POS
- Monitor, support, train and advise local partners as it relates to brand integrity, marketing, assortment planning / purchasing and channels development
- Monitor and ensure contractual compliance of local partner’s activities in their territories
- Negotiate, review and monitor local business plans to achieve sales goals, while maintaining long term objectives of sustainable growth and brand integrity
- Regularly review local partner’s sales statistics to ensure proper stock flow and replenishment locally
- Support internal brand, product and marketing teams through feedback from local markets and assistance in execution of brand strategies and tactics
- Monitor and report on industry and competitive activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the luxury watches & jewellery industry
- Sales Strategy Development, Market Expansion, Client Relationship Management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel and interact in cross cultural environments (up to 50% travel)
- Strong Numerical Skills + advanced computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel)
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings and presentations
- Fluency in English, German and/or French
- Residency in Switzerland and work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship is required
