Senior C++ Developer Description
We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer to join EPAM and support our client from the financial services area in their office in Zurich in a hybrid working environment.
The ideal candidate will be working with a professional e-banking solution. It offers single, integrated platform to handle payments, cash management, foreign exchange trading and confirmations, continuous linked settlements, precious metals and securities. As a multibanking system it allows all accounts a client has to be managed from one interface and gives access to SWIFT. The team is currently working on implementing the ISO 20022 standard.

Responsibilities
- Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
- Analyze business requirements for the delegated Investment Management
- Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance the client’s existing applications
- Conduct code reviews and test software as needed along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
- Ensure that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with C++ programming language
- Experience working within agile development teams
- Experience working with legacy applications
- Knowledge of the following tech stack
- Microsoft Visual C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio (should have clear OOPs concept)
- Win32 APIs
- Writing SQL Queries
- Database concept table, views, stored procedures, etc
- Concept of DLLs, MS Build
- Awareness of Windows registries, ODBC, etc
- Ability to apply modern best practices to new projects
- Effective within the complexity, constraints and boundaries of a leading global organization, operating in a highly regulated industry, running on bespoke software
- Fluent English communication skills at a C1 level
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle and UNIX is a benefit
- Experience working ideally in investment banking or financial services areas
