In this role, you will:
The Demand and Supply Planning Center of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for leading the strategic development and operational efficiency of the demand and supply planning processes for both BTB and BTC IFP Asia businesses (~600m). This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization like Supply chain, Commercial, finance, procurement etc to ensure that best practices are implemented and that planning processes are aligned with overall business goals.
Key responsibilities are mentioned in below section.
The CoE will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize planning tools, and enhance the overall capability of the planning teams.

Process Optimization & Standardization:
-
Develop and implement standardized processes/templates and best practices across all demand and supply planning functions.

Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in the planning process, ensuring consistency and reliability in forecasts and supply plans.

Lead the centralized coordinated activities for Asia for both demand & Supply planning process like rough cut capacity planning, the quarterly forecast submissions etc

Lead the centralized reporting, Power BI dashboarding, Projects & other analytics activities

Integration of planning processes & systems during the transition phase of merging BTB and BTC businesses across markets.

Strategic Leadership:

Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at improving the accuracy of demand forecasts and the efficiency of supply plans.

Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to align demand planning activities with business objectives.

Tool & System Enhancement:
-
Evaluate, recommend, and implement planning tools and technologies to enhance forecasting and planning capabilities.

Ensure that the planning systems are fully integrated and leveraged across the organization to drive data-driven decision-making.

Training & Development:
-
Design and deliver training programs for the demand and supply planning teams to improve their skills and knowledge in planning processes and tools.

Build a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the planning teams.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor the performance of demand and supply planning activities.

Provide regular reports to senior management on planning accuracy, service levels, and inventory performance.

Change Management:

Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and systems within the planning teams.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of improvements.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the business.

Work closely with supply chain teams to manage supply and demand fluctuations effectively.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with customer expectations and market dynamics.

Act as a central point of contact for all demand and supply planning-related queries and initiatives.

In one of our Demand and Supply Planning roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree / MBA in Supply Chain Management from tier I Institutes/Colleges

Work experience: 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience in a FMCG industry preferably in demand, Supply or Mill planning

Key competencies:
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency in Planning processes (Demand, Supply and Production Planning)
-
Experience of using analytics & dashboarding tools preferred like Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx etc as user
-
Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA) and advanced Excel skills.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
-
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
