Job description
Mission
The deputy store manager supports the store manager in leading the team, boosting sales, showcasing the brand, and ensuring effective store operations. The role focuses on optimizing both quantitative and qualitative results in line with brand goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leading the Team
- Assist in recruiting, integrating, and training new employees.
- Inspire team members to excel in customer service and skill development.
- Conduct performance evaluations and foster a positive work environment.
- Resolve conflicts impartially and hold regular meetings for effective communication.
- Motivate and empower team members to achieve sales targets.
Measurement Criteria:
- Social climate stability and turnover rates.
- Team meeting records.
- Evaluation forms (MAGs, trial periods).
2. Sales Management
- Drive team performance to meet sales goals.
- Improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure excellent customer service and a unique shopping experience.
- Maintain knowledge of collections and prevent theft.
Measurement Criteria:
- KPI analysis (e.g., conversion rate, turnover).
- Mystery shopping results.
3. Brand Representation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment.
- Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards.
- Educate the team on merchandising principles.
Measurement Criteria:
- Feedback from retail managers and visual merchandisers.
- Mystery shopping evaluations.
4. Store Management
- Oversee scheduling, budgets, and compliance with labor laws.
- Monitor financial procedures and analyze sales results.
- Facilitate efficient communication within the hierarchy.
Measurement Criteria:
- Budget adherence and team hours monitoring.
- Effective monthly planning and expense management.
5. Store Organization
- Ensure proper maintenance of the store, stockroom, and materials.
- Oversee logistical tasks like deliveries, stock management, and inventory.
- Maintain security and hygiene standards.
Measurement Criteria:
- Inventory accuracy and stock condition.
- Timely processing of transfers and stock replenishment.

Professional requirements
- Education as a salesperson in retail and /or education as a sales coordinator with commercial skills as an advantage
- Experience in sales and leadership of a store and its sales staff, or as assistant store manager
- Customer oriented and customer friendly
- Takes on initiative
- Experience in PR and marketing activities
- Being proficient in sales strategy

Languages
- The ideal candidate will be either be of mother tongue / bilingual in German
