Our client is the global leader in the field of mechatronic drive systems with 1,300 collaborators in its technological and manufacturing group. It partners with demanding international clients in the automotive and medical industries. Innovation and the development of new technological solutions are essential pillars for development for our partner. These applications are internally designed, developed, industrialized and produced in this human-size group. Close interaction between teams allows them to meet the clients’ specific needs and expresses a strong will to support them in their search for added value. This integrated industrial model allows for the design and production of electric actuators and motors on two Swiss sites based near the Franco-Swiss border – in the French Doubs, Territoire de Belfort and Haut-Rhin. In order to support its sales development, we are looking for a:
You will work with automobile manufacturers and leading first-rank suppliers and your role will be to lead and ensure competitiveness and profitability of the Business Unit. Centered on innovation and business development, you will identify new markets and manage key accounts. You will contribute to introducing premium solutions to clients until their commitment. Your challenges will bring you to mainly travel in Western Europe and to develop new opportunities with American and Asian partners thanks to the support of local teams. You will focus on quality follow-ups and maintain a close relationship with the historical key accounts and clients in your portfolio. You are comfortable with complex negotiations and will ensure especially thorough work on the impact of exchange rates on the deals made with the clients. You will also manage the contracts.
You will work under the Business Unit Sales Manager, will travel 20-30% of the time to represent the company, its premium brand and world-renowned industrial excellence. You are passionate and follow the market and technology trends and will occasionally be able to participate in diverse trade shows and seminars.
You have a technical and/or sales-focused higher education diploma and 5-10 years experience in the manufacturing sector - ideally the automotive industry. Your technical and sales knowledge - specifically in mechatronics - allows you to credibly and legitimately promote your projects on- and off-site. Your perfect proficiency in German and English backed by your international environment is essential. Knowledge of French would be a plus. You have relational and personal skills that allow you to enthusiastically tackle important challenges in diverse and demanding technologies and places. You are persistent and imaginative and known for creating trusting and successful relationships with your partners.
Permanent position, based in the French border area, 20 minutes from Belfort. Attractive compensation (80% fixed salary + 20% variable compensation)
