This role is based in the Integrated Workforce Strategies Team within the People & Culture organization, which enables the business to achieve its ambitious goals and to anticipate & adapt to the constantly evolving environment. To ensure the future readiness of our workforce and data-driven & strategic workforce decisions, we are implementing a Strategic Workforce Planning framework and data-driven, skills-based workforce planning solutions. Thereby, we focus not only on our internal workforce, but also unlock the strategic potential of our total workforce towards a total workforce view. Shaping new practices in this field, working with new technologies and cross-functional partners offers you great learning opportunities.

The Opportunity:

For a 6 months period, your main focus as an intern in the Workforce Optimization team will be learning about Workforce Strategies at Roche and about shaping a framework at global level. You will be supporting the design of products and playbooks as well as the implementation of the enablement strategy for various roles in People & Culture, the business or partner functions.

You are contributing to the design of various products and projects in the field of workforce strategies and planning. You support the creation of learning solutions that inspire and educate our partners. You closely collaborate with the experts in the field in an agile working environment characterized by empowerment, open communication and willingness to test new ideas.

Who you are:

  • You are in your Bachelor or Master studies in the field of business administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or similar

  • Ideally, you have first experience in HR, Learning and/or communication field

  • You can address complex problems and develop effective solutions

  • You think creatively and you enjoy the creation of effective presentations, learning material and experiences

  • You are motivated to work independently in a collaborative and dynamic environment and can adapt to different needs

  • You have a can-do attitude and growth mindset

  • You are characterized by a high level of social competence and are able to efficiently communicate in English

Skills Needed:

  • PowerPoint or Google Slide skills are required

  • Excel knowledge and fluency in English

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability of simplification of concepts

  • Creating processes, frameworks

  • Agility

  • Creative Thinking

General information:

  • Start date: September or October 2024

  • Workload: 40 hours/week (100%)

  • Duration: 6 months
