In keeping with our guiding principle 'Moving Human Sciences', we focus on people and their institutions with our six faculties and two academies, soon to be joined by two university research centres. Our aim is to develop the University of Lucerne into a pioneering, internationally visible centre for research and teaching in the human sciences.

The new Faculty of Behavioural Sciences and Psychology complements the human sciences profile of the University of Lucerne. It strives to distinguish itself through innovative projects that bolster professional care in Switzerland and elevate Lucerne's international standing as a research centre. The new degree programme in psychology starts in autumn 2024.
