You'll be part of a talented, dynamic team, with the opportunity to influence both the operational and strategic direction of Helvetia MediCare GmbH, and drive the company’s expansion into new and innovative areas of healthcare.
The business model will have three mains focus: 1- Drugs on Shortages, 2- Consultancy and licensing Drugs from non-EU countries, 3- Pharma Distributions and Sales.
Your Role:
We’re seeking a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), with a passion for pharmaceutical, especially API, formulation and compounding. As the Head of Pharmacy, you will:
- Lead the pharmacy operations, ensuring exceptional quality and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with SwissMedic to secure authorizations and licenses for pharmaceutical operations.
- Coordinate the procurement of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and manage key relationships with manufacturers.
- Oversee production with third-party labs, ensuring adherence to quality assurance protocols.
- Participate in long-term strategic planning, including exploring online pharmacies, telemedicine, and on-site operations.
- Collaborate on innovative product formulations and third-party manufacturing.
- Work closely with the founding team to drive overall company growth.
Who You Are:
- A licensed pharmacist, already registered in Switzerland, with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree, BAB Register.
- A strong interest or experience in pharmaceutical compounding, API and regulatory affairs (experience with SwissMedic is a strong advantage).
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ambition to grow alongside a start-up.
- Pharmacy operations and administration experiences
- Skilled at managing relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies.
- Excited to contribute to strategic initiatives, including online pharmacy development and telemedical services, Products development, and research.
- Ability to set up model and process.
- Willing to manage a team and bring company spirit and elevate the individual.
- Willing to invest your time and expertise in exchange for equity in a promising venture.
- German, English mandatory, French, Italian and Spanish a plus. European Expansion foresee in 3years.
- Availability: 8h per week to start and possible part or full time with salary once the startup is producing revenue.
Partnership Details:
All partners will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Non-Compete Agreement, protecting the company’s intellectual property and ensuring the security of our innovative projects and strategic vision.
