Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.
You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable Salesforce solutions that align with our business objectives. You will lead technical discussions with clients in the Life Sciences and Health Care industry, guide teams on best practices, and ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems.
- Design and develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices and standards.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience in Salesforce architecture and solutioning in the Lifesciences industry, including Veeva, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, including REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect).
- Experience with data modeling, security configurations, and performance optimization in Salesforce.
- Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Deep experience in solutioning and delivering large scale, international Lifesciences projects
- Deep knowledge of Lifescience CRM processes and requirements
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps processes for Salesforce deployments.
- Experience with third-party app integrations from Salesforce AppExchange.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management.
- Background in developing solutions involving advanced Salesforce technologies such as Data Cloud and Veeva
- Working knowledge of other CRM systems or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
