This independent Sydney based real estate investment group primarily engaged in investing through private capital funds is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager role (part time) is based in Zurich office to oversee the commercial and financial operations, compliance, and reporting of company’s international businesses.
This independent Sydney based real estate investment group primarily engaged in investing through private capital funds, separate account mandates and specific investment programs. It has profitably grown its international businesses, with operations now established in Luxembourg, Switzerland, New Zealand and Japan and a representative presence in New York and London.
This Financial Reporting Manager role (part time) is based in Zurich office to oversee the commercial and financial operations, compliance, and reporting of company’s international businesses. The key responsibilities include oversight of commercial operations, preparation and execution of strategy and business plans, determination of funding requirements, preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, oversight of financial reporting, analysis of results, coordination of international payments/payroll, supervision of regulatory compliance and reporting, tax strategy and compliance, auditor liaison, legal support and corporate secretarial.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to build effective working relationships within and outside the organisation (including key third-party service providers).
You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications, including chartered accountancy or similar post qualifications, together with 4 or more years of relevant experience. Strong accounting skills and financial reporting experience is required. You will have a solid attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture, while working to deadlines. Strong computer literacy and a proficiency in Xero are essential. An interest or experience in funds management operation would be a benefit.
The role will require occasional after-hours involvement to match Australian meeting times, with a mutual understanding of flexibility and rebalance.
