Emile Egger & Cie SA is a medium-sized, Swiss industrial enterprise with Headquarters in Cressier near Neuchâtel. The company employs today around 430 employees worldwide and focuses on the development and manufacturing of high quality, customized solids handling centrifugal pumps and regulation valves across a wide range of industries such as sewage, chemical, petrochemical, steel, textile, etc.
To reinforce our IT department at our Swiss Headquarter we are seeking a skilled and motivated:
Main responsibilities
- Manage the configuration and customization of applications according to the organizational needs.
- Ensure that applications comply with defined policies and corporate standards
- Lead IT application related projects with a duration of less than 6 months and of medium complexity
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing second-level support to end-users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into application requirements
- Design, establish and operate governance related to managed applications
- Develop and maintain a backlog of change requests and facilitate the prioritisation according to the system governance
- Develop and manage collaboration with externals partners involved into the application management
- Lead the development, testing and deployment of application updates, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Create and maintain the relevant documentation related to the managed applications
- Coordinate or provide training and support as needed to key application users
- Contribute to the IT risk management process
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or experience deemed equivalent
- 3-6 years of experience with the IT application domain
- Fluent in English and in the local language, both written and spoken
Qualifications
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft D365 CRM and Finance & Operations ERP
- Strong knowledge in IT Service Management Processes based on ITIL
- Strong knowledge of Product Management processes
- Working knowledge of security and application development processes
- Working knowledge of Business analysis and process modelling
- Good overall understanding of IT Infrastructure and Cloud solutions management
- Professional Application-related certifications would be a plus
