This is a fixed-term role until 01.03.2026.
The World Economic Forum (the Forum), committed to improving the state of the world, is the international organization for public-private cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.
The World Economic Forum’s Centre for Nature and Climate (CNC) is working on the agenda to develop thought and action leadership in philanthropy, with the aim to catalyze impact at speed and scale through multi-stakeholder collaboration to achieve critical goals across the climate and nature agenda.
This involves the global initiative Giving to Amplify Earth Action (GAEA), which aims to build a community of the boldest and most innovative impact-multipliers for climate and nature, leading a journey of systematic transformation. Our solution lies in multistakeholder partnerships between Public, Private, and Philanthropic partnerships (the 4P model) through three levers of activity:
-
Unlock seed capital and increase resource flow into climate and nature, creating a strong signal for increased investment, policy change, and corporate engagement.
-
Build thought leadership on the catalytic role of philanthropy to increase government and corporate leadership in support of the long-term success of the 4Ps.
-
Identify new areas of intervention and relevant companies, governments, and philanthropies that would benefit from a 4P approach, mainstreaming 4P models.
Why we are recruiting
GAEA is looking for a Project Lead to run a newly established collaboration with one of our partners, No. 17 Foundation under the TPC (Tsao Pao Chee) Group. The collaboration seeks to design a new engagement focused on advancing public-private-philanthropic partnerships (4Ps).
This collaboration will work on a regional and global platform that is able to convene, inspire, activate, and incubate new bold partnerships with SMEs wanting to pivot into climate and nature projects, in collaboration with philanthropic and impact investing leaders to design new innovative models to address market failures and remove obstacles across value chains for climate and nature transitions.
Reporting Lines & Interactions
This position will be based out of the Forum’s Geneva office and will report to the Head of the GAEA program. The successful candidate will work closely with a broad range of Forum colleagues and external stakeholders, including philanthropic organizations, companies, governments, research institutions, and civil society organizations at senior levels. This is an integral part of the role. This is a unique opportunity to work on a regional and global challenge and engage directly with key stakeholders working across the global value chain.
Breakdown of main responsibilities
-
To create and lead a global network of purpose-driven philanthropies, family offices, impact investors, and family business leaders, including next-generation members, committed to driving sustainable business practices and creating positive impact for climate and nature across generations.
-
Lead the design and contribute to a knowledge project that highlights best practices and success stories of family offices and family businesses using their portfolios for climate and nature solutions. This project will serve as a platform to support innovative 4P models at both regional and global levels.

-
Facilitate impactful engagement opportunities at key Forum events and partner convenings. Oversee event design, content development, speaker and participant engagement, and coordinate logistics with Forum internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
The candidate will be expected to perform all other duties assigned by the manager to support the overall deliverables of CNC and the GAEA team, towards the goal of strengthening CNC as an impactful platform for dialogue and solution delivery to address climate and nature challenges.
The successful candidate will be assessed on:
