What you do here
Demand Planner GTR-DIS is responsible for the integrated and aligned volume planning for the allocated sales markets.
The holder of the position acts as one of the central links in the S&OP Process and in collaboration with the sales team, will develop an integrated demand plan. Following this, there will be a fine-tuning session with finance and supply where an aligned rolling forecast will be set.
When challenges arise such as overstock or demand exceeding availability, these can be recognized and questioned in due time. However, it is important for us to have a high quality, consolidated and rolling forecast and the numbers are applied correctly during the planning process.
Commercial assumptions should be questioned when necessary and the Demand Planner GTR-DIS works very close with the Sales team, Finance/Controlling, Marketing, Supply Planning and Customer Service & Export.
