Job Description:
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with banks and asset managers. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients leverage our digital solutions to meet their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities by targeting banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, including negotiations and contract management.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and positioning our solutions effectively.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional post-sales support.
Market Research & Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams on customer needs, emerging trends, and potential product improvements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, product development, and client delivery teams to ensure alignment in client acquisition and retention efforts.
Reporting:
- Regularly track and report on sales performance, including pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
- Prepare presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Proven track record of successfully selling digital solutions to banks, asset managers, or other financial institutions.
Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of banking and asset management compliance, operations, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with digital transformation technologies such as automation, data analytics, and cloud solutions in the financial sector.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and German.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Legal or a related field.
