• Detailed underwriting analysis of Construction Liability (Professional and General Liability) accounts -, terms and conditions, pricing, capacity deployment.
• Analyze and evaluate risks both from a technical and insurance standpoint.
• Negotiation of terms and conditions with brokers and clients with a clear focus on long term sustainability and profitability.
• Assuring compliance with Helvetia Group Underwriting Directives and Strategy.
• Development of an extensive knowledge of the Construction Liability Client and Broker network.
• Attendance at national and international client and broker meetings as well as industry events where appropriate.
• Contribute to a motivated, agile, and determined team.
• Close cooperation with our claims department for large and complex claims.
• Location: Zurich Stettbach & Flex-Office.

• University degree, Law or commercial background. Further qualification (e.g. Insurance certification) is an asset.
• Professional experience in Casualty underwriting or in the underlying industry.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and sales skills.
• Strong business acumen and good understanding of the underlying Construction Liability insurance markets.
• Tackle challenges with passion and demonstrate high expectations of own performance.
• Develop stable partnerships across departmental boundaries and cooperate to meet common goals.
• Positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in English and German, additional languages would be advantageous.
