Position Summary
 
The Fonds de Pensions Nestlé is a CHF 8 billion Swiss foundation providing occupational benefits under the 2nd pillar legislation (LPP/BVG) for approximately 14'300 active members and pensioners beneficiaries.
 
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to join our team as a Head of Pension Administration reporting directly to the Head of the Pension Fund. In this role, you will have the responsibility for the management of the team in charge of the Fund's administration. You will lead a team of 7 direct reports providing strong technical support and expertise in its day-to-day operations to foster efficiency and strengthen its procedures. This position will also give you the unique opportunity to actively promote and participate in strategic transformation projects for the Fund in terms of benefit proposal/line-up and its journey towards digital transition.

A Day in the Life of a Head of Pension Administration

  • Manage a team of 7 direct reports to ensure efficient administration of the Fund for the 14'300 active members and pension beneficiaries.
  • Build a strong and dedicated team spirit, promoting collaboration and a positive work environment.
  • Lead project management initiatives, focusing on process optimization, standardization, and efficiency improvements utilizing digitalization technologies.
  • Implement and maintain a consistent internal control system for benefit administration, including risk analyses, business processes, road maps, checklists, workflows, guidelines and documentations.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal IT support team to coordinate IT-related tasks, identify development needs and prioritize projects.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with members and Nestlé associations (employees and pensioners), providing individualized advice and support to members and related parties on pension-related matters (retirement conditions, quitting, housing, additional voluntary contributions, etc.) in French, German and English.
  • Conduct plenary information sessions and communicate with members via annual reports, information booklets, circulars and internet website.

What will make you successful

 

  • Expert in social insurances and/or in pension fund management with federal diploma. 
  • 7 to 10 years of proven experience in pension fund administration.
  • Solid knowledge in pension issues and legislation, tax compliance, double taxation treaties, Swiss social insurance systems and rules.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire a high-performing team of experts.
  • Proficiency in project management in similar business bringing new visions and ways of working and driving process optimization initiatives.
  • Full proficiency in English and in either French or German combined with a strong working knowledge of the other language is essential for the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong capacity to embrace the digital landscape and demonstrate a keen enthusiasm for leveraging digital technologies to drive innovation and enhance business operations.
