Are you a seasoned PR professional with a passion for travel, cruise ships, and captivating narratives? Based out of the Company’s global headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, MSC Cruises is seeking a Trade Media Relations Manager to join a dynamic international team.

Role Summary: As our Trade Media Relations Manager, you'll be the wind in our sails, steering our brand visibility within the trade media landscape, working hand in hand with local markets from around the world. Picture yourself collaborating with Marketing, Product departments and our ships - crafting stories that whisk readers away to exotic destinations in luxurious cabins, inspiring trade media worldwide to write about our thrilling brand and product.

1. Content Creation:

• Set sail on a creative voyage! Develop/adapt content for new ships, focusing on brand product pillars (food and beverage, entertainment, wellness, luxury, kids/family, etc.) with trade media audiences in mind.

2. Toolkits and Assets:

• Imagine assembling a treasure chest of trade communication tools: Create toolkits and assets for deployment in global markets. Think fact sheets, press kits, infographics, videos and more.

• Craft creative briefs for external partners (photography, videography, design).

3. Global Alignment:

• Chart a course of collaboration by coordinating efforts with in-country PR teams to ensure alignment between global and local communications initiatives.

• Share your best practices fostering collaborative global ways of working.

4. Building Relationships:

• Cultivate close personal connections with key trade media across the globe, plus global colleagues.

5. Results Tracking:

• Monitor and track global trade media coverage results, guiding us toward communication excellence.

6. Press Trips and Events:

• Assist in planning, delivering, and managing country-specific and global group press trips and media events

• Fluent in the language of the sea (Native-level English proficiency; knowledge of another European language is advantageous).

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant media relations/brand experience (agency or in-house).

• Experience in the travel or hospitality sector is a plus, cruse/cruise trade experience a huge plus.

• Self-starter with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a solutions-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel); experience with design software is beneficial.

EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.
