Position Overview
The Senior Analyst, Expansion markets, supplies the Expansion Markets team with insightful information about target geographical markets to shape the expansion strategy and execution. This role will work closely with other functions within the company, including Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Sales Operations, and Medical Affairs, to gather key intelligence and will also drive collection of detailed information in-market in collaboration with external consultants. The position is also responsible for consolidating and interpreting market intelligence and reporting about it to the Expansion Markets team.
Based in Warsaw, Poland, the position reports to the VP & Counsel, Expansion Markets.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the Expansion Team as they make key strategic decisions.
- Participate & advise in the creation of a logical strategy for the geographical expansion of Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score and specified portfolio expansion products.
- Build models to assist in the evaluation of new products and strategies.
- Deliver business cases that support the mission of the Expansion Team.
- Deliver analyses of information from various sources, including competitive intelligence, market research, and secondary data sources to create clear, complete, and compelling reports and presentations.
- Be able to effectively conduct quantitative and qualitative market research to aid the prioritisation of corporate strategies (new products, product expansions, etc.).
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and corporate strategy peers to help create and execute research plans that are both impactful and cost-effective.
- Confidently and clearly present research findings to stakeholders both in person and virtually.
- Collaborate and help to manage agency partners to ensure research is conducted effectively and on time.
- Collaborate with corporate strategy colleagues (US & International) to support market research and opportunity analysis.
- Ensure assigned objectives are met and that assigned projects and other work are completed on time, to high standards and within budget.

- Scheduling requirements:
- Ability to work designated schedule with regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work evenings as needed to facilitate international meetings.
- Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 50% of working time away from work location, mostly internationally, and may include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in relevant field.
- 3+ years of life science business experience with 1+ years of relevant experience in competitive intelligence, market research, commercial insights, strategy, or consulting.
- Experience in a healthcare related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong internet research skills.
- Fluent in English, other language skills are preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Ability to simplify complex data and ability to work with large data sets.

Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced degree in a life-sciences, technical, analytical discipline, business or finance.
- Familiarity with oncology.
- Business analysis qualification.
- Familiarity with medical device or diagnostic commercial and regulatory environment.
- Familiarity with data analytics and financial modelling.
- Fluency or proficiency in multiple languages.
- Experience in a cross-cultural, international environment.
