DevOps Engineer vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Leading the onboarding of applications to the Cloud Native Stack for enhanced scalability and efficiency
- Guiding teams in adopting common platforms, including observability and testing frameworks
- Driving standardization and automation initiatives
- Contributing to the future software solutions strategy within the Markets division
- Supporting the maintenance and improvement of shared platforms
- Fostering a collaborative engineering culture while implementing best practices for global critical systems
Your experience/knowledge:
- Proficiency in Java, .NET, Scala, Python, and JavaScript front-end development with deep architectural expertise
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, distributed architectures, and low-latency systems on Azure Application Platform, especially AKS
- Extensive CI/CD skills using Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, Octopus Deploy, Maven, and .NET
- Knowledge of communication stacks like RabbitMQ, Kafka, GRPC, and WebSockets, along with observability tools such as Grafana and ElasticSearch
- Familiarity with security protocols, including OAuth 2.0, TLS, and vulnerability scanning, as well as scripting in Bash and PowerShell
- Language skills: English
