The Opportunity
In the Immunology and Cardiovascular/Metabolic Therapeutic Area, you will be part of a highly collaborative, international group of researchers who are developing innovative medicines for the future.
We're currently looking for a scientist to organize, manage and evaluate outsourced in vitro and in vivo studies to support the R&D efforts of the Therapeutic Area.
These responsibilities capture a portion of what your work will look like:

You carefully design, organize, and manage externally run studies in collaboration with internal scientists, procurement, and contract research organizations in a timely manner.

You act as an advisor for study design, defining scientific rationale, and success metrics, and monitoring progress.

You provide high-quality analysis of conducted studies and summarize, present, and discuss study results with project teams.

You ensure excellent interaction with vendors and maintain an overview of the activities and capabilities of relevant CROs.

You work on a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Please note this position is a temporary contract for 13 months.
Who you are
-
You have a PhD in Life Sciences (cellular/molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology) and over 2 years of working experience in a pharmaceutical research setting.

You possess excellent organization and planning skills, with experience in analyzing preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies.

You communicate fluently in English and have outstanding data management and record-keeping skills.

You are an effective team worker, skillfully interacting with internal and external stakeholders while managing multiple tasks in parallel.
